Situated at over 2,000 meters above sea level near Kaprun, this striking turquoise reservoir captivates visitors with its dramatic landscapes, surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers.

How to get there

  • Accessible from early June to mid-October
  • Location on approx. 2,040 meters high
  • Directions to the Mooserboden reservoir with transfer buses and larch wall inclined elevator
  • Direct access to the reservoirs with your own car or bike is not possible
  • Daily dam tours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. every 45 minutes
  • Adventure world electricity is included in the admission price to the high mountain reservoirs
  • Via ferrata in the Höhenburg via ferrata arena and MOBO 107 on the Mooserboden dam
